Digestive Enzymes Ultra from Pure Encapsulations can withstand the acidic conditions of the stomach, improve digestion and alleviate symptoms of bloating and gas. Digestive enzymes are produced throughout the gastrointestinal tract to help with the breakdown of large food molecules into smaller nutrients for absorption into the bloodstream. Sometimes the glands that produce these enzymes become damaged, or don’t work and this can result in uncomfortable symptoms such as gas and bloating.
Diseases of the stomach and small intestine can reduce the number of enzymes produced. For example those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease, or low stomach acid might find digestive enzyme supplements helpful. Suffered with ibs for several years & decided to try these & dgl plus to help protect & repair the stomach. Generally so much better but with some issues occasionally if I have too much of the wrong thing for me. Overall would say they definitely help.
