This product contains the extensively researched strain Lactobacillus paracasei, as well as vitamin C which helps to support the body’s resistance to infections and supports a healthy immune system. 70% of the immune system lives in the gut so it’s important to support gut health with the right strains of bacteria when trying to improve immune function.
L. paracasei has been studied in numerous clinical trials on thousands of people, and is the single strain of bacteria in this product. It has proved beneficial for digestive disorders, particularly the duration of diarrhoea, and the immune system, specifically reducing the duration of flu like symptoms. It can help aid digestion, immunity and energy levels. Suitable during pregnancy, for infants (1 yr +), breastfeeding mothers, the elderly, vegans and vegetarians, and gluten free for those with coeliac disease or an intolerance. This probiotic can also be stored at room temperature; it does not require refrigeration.
SUGGESTED DOSAGE
Optibac for Daily Immunity can be given to adults and children, from 1 year onwards, with the following recommendations:
Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with breakfast, or as professionally directed.
Drink plenty of water with your course of live cultures.
For anyone unable to swallow capsules, the content of the capsule may be mixed with a cold, non acidic meal or beverage.
Do not swallow capsules with hot drinks as heat kills bacteria.
